Hi Grunt.
Under Cover Covers. UK.
I had a flap added, to cover up window, when needed.
I chatted to a few UK, LR Forum members.
They said the Tilt was warmer and quieter, during winter months than their hard tops.
Also no condensation.
So I will see.

Mines a truck cab so the heater manages to take the chill off, and a sou’wester keeps the condensation at bay. It’s the driving around topless that makes me want to do away with the truck cab, but having to refit the cover in a hurry makes me change my mind.

Just realised you post was from last week. Is he still alive and if so how well is he marking his territory.

Hi Grunt.
I ran Gilbert up and down the road, a couple of times.
Just with coil lead connected to battery. The coil got a bit hot, but that maybe caused by the power in the battery dropping.
Have a New S/H AutoSparks loom, and still comparing and labeling to his original one.
Had very poor brakes, but adjustment sorted that out
1st gear is quite hard to get in, but new parts need to bed in.
I was very surprised how quiet he was, all round.
Today I will add Alternator wiring loom,
And another gentle run up and down the road.

Alternator loom sorted and fitted.
Sorted out 1st and 2nd by putting in After market detent spring.
Genuine one locked up 1st gear when fully tightened. Copper washer under nut fixed the problem, but was bending gear lever trying to put it into gear. AM spring fixed problem. Goes in nice now, but still firm.
Re Torqued head bolts and re did valve gap.
I believe the slight chatter in second, down hill, on over run, is just the mix match of New 1/2nd syncro and old, but good 2nd gear. Hopefully Just need to wear to each other, a bit. Goes if I accelerate.
Up and down the road, things nice and quiet
Just wiring to go, now. Big day ahead.
