Old meets new

Postby Hiawatha » Sat Apr 12, 2014 5:58 am

My friend Willie decided he needed a front end loader , the old 1953 TEA is not really up to the job and is now used for leisurely cruising around the paddocks surveying fences and dams . Here is a photograph of the old up against the new . A vast difference in size , power and capacity .
It is so large in comparison that Willie is really quite scared of driving it , I am having to persuade him to take small trips around the paddocks in order to familiarise him with the controls and handling . A little like teaching your child to give up the trainer wheels on their bicycle. Until then it seems like I will have to do all the driving , tough isn't it ;)
